The Ultimate Bass Radio Show will hit a milestone with its 1,000th show on Nov. 23. The hour-long weekly bass fishing radio show is now in its 20th year and host Kent Brown says the 1,000th show has been a goal that has been focused on for some time.
“The 1,000th show guest list will be an all-star list of anglers who have been instrumental in the show’s past and helped build our following,” said Brown.
The Ultimate Bass Radio Show has been the only all-bass fishing radio program in the West for the past 20 years, putting anglers in the boat with the best tournament pros, guides and fishing industry leaders. It airs on the 50,000-watt AM radio station SacTown Sports 1140 AM every Saturday morning at 5 a.m. PST.
Brown is a 40-year veteran of tournament bass fishing has a personal relationship with the biggest names in the fishing world, and top regional and national anglers are featured each week. Brown has competed on most of the Western tours and national circuits such as B.A.S.S. and MLF/FLW and was inducted into the California Outdoor Hall of Fame in 2020.
